What do I need to know before renting a car?

 

The vehicle can be reserved through our website, by phone, sending an email

 

You must have a valid driver’s license and an identity card or passport.

 

You must be at least 18 years old to rent a vehicle. If you are under the age of 21, a young driver fee applies.

 

No. Reservations are free and no deposit is required to reserve a vehicle.

 

Reservations are free and can be cancelled at any time.

 

We accept credit cards, debit cards and cash.

 

We offer a wide range of vehicle categories. You can browse the available vehicles directly on our website.

 

Yes, pick-up or return at other locations is possible with prior notice and our approval. Depending on the requested location, an additional delivery fee may apply.

 

For short-term rentals up to 30 days, the mileage limit is 2500 km. For long-term rentals, the mileage limit is determined according to the client’s needs.
Insurance

 

Three protection levels are available:

  • Low Protection
  • Medium Protection
  • Full Protection

 

Low Protection is included in every short-term rental. With this protection, participation in damage ranges from 1,000.00 € to 2,200.00 €, depending on the vehicle category.

It includes:

  • CDW – reduces liability in case of a traffic accident to the damage excess amount
  • TP – reduces liability in case of vehicle theft to the damage excess amount
  • PAI – personal accident insurance for driver and passengers

It does not cover damage to tyres, undercarriage, glass/windshield or vehicle interior.

A credit card is not required to purchase Low Protection.

 

Medium Protection is an additional insurance option that reduces participation in damage to 300.00 € – 860.00 €, depending on the vehicle category.

It includes:

  • CDW – collision damage waiver
  • TP – theft protection
  • CDW+ – lower damage excess, depending on category
  • TP+ – lower theft excess, depending on category
  • PAI – personal accident insurance

Damage to tyres, undercarriage, glass/windshield and the interior of the vehicle is not covered.

A credit card is not required to purchase Medium Protection.

 

Full Protection is the highest level of protection available. It covers all vehicle damages and provides the greatest level of protection with no participation in damages.

It includes:

  • CDW – collision damage waiver
  • TP – theft protection
  • CDW+
  • TP+
  • SCDW – removes financial responsibility for participating in damage
  • PAI – personal accident insurance

Full Protection still does not cover damage caused to tyres, undercarriage, glass or the interior of the vehicle.

A credit card is required to purchase Full Protection.

 

Damage excess is the maximum amount the client accepts and may be charged in the event of damage to the vehicle. It does not include technical failures or damage caused by improper use of the vehicle due to the direct fault of the client.

 

Yes. A security deposit is required and depends on the vehicle category and the type of insurance selected.
Additional options and travel conditions

 

Additional equipment such as child seats, navigation and wireless internet can be reserved at any time before completion of the booking.

 

Yes, but only with prior notice. If you want to travel outside Croatia, an additional fee of 45.00 € per rental applies. Travel is permitted to EU and EEA member states, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro.

 

No. There is no additional fee for passing through the Neum corridor.

 

No. There is no additional ferry fee. In line with the no hidden costs policy, ferry transport is free for all users.

 

Online check-in allows you to fill in all personal information before the rental in order to shorten paperwork during vehicle pick-up. It is available on our website or can be sent to you by email.
Everything I need to know on vehicle pick-up and during the lease

 

A maximum of 4 different people can drive the vehicle during the rental period.

 

No. There is no extra fee for an additional driver.

 

Yes. Vehicles can be picked up at airport. We work on a meet and greet basis, where our representative welcomes you with your name at the passenger exit and escorts you to the vehicle in the airport parking area.

 

Yes. Ferry transport is allowed and there is no additional charge.

 

In the event of a traffic accident, the best course of action is to contact as car employee who will guide you on how to proceed.

 

No. Insurance contracted with another company is not recognized during the rental period.

 

All vehicles are delivered with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with the same fuel level. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the fuel difference and a refueling fee will be charged.

 

Yes, but you should contact us in advance so we can check vehicle availability.

 

Yes. The vehicle can be returned before the agreed date and you only pay for the days the vehicle was used.
Everything I need to know after the lease has ended

 

After the end of the rental, we send a request to our bank to cancel the authorization. The bank then forwards the request to the card issuer, which usually unblocks the funds within 1–3 working days.
